We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. jeepneys are squishy, cos the driver tries not to leave unless he's got a full load of passengers... i accidentally stood up in one when i stepped into it, really hit my head!!

Most of the pictures I recently uploaded are from my parents trip to Canada back in October '04. It was my sisters graduation, unfortunately I couldn't make that trip due to UNI exams. December '04 I was in the Philippines for a while and now i'm in Brunei chilling with my parents. Heading back to Brisbane this Sunday.
And I totally agree with you on the whole jeepney thing, definately squishy. Mostly around town/cities. The one I remember was in Quezon City where we had to take the bus from Los Banos and take a jeep to one of the malls there. Good fun. But I get kind of paranoid in those situations, bloody theives/snatchers!

Heh yeah... i've heard stories about how cunning thieves are there... my dad reckons sometimes they drop a coin in the middle of a crowded place like a jeepney or bus, and when everybody automatically reacts and looks around for it, the thieves steal your wallet from your back pocket!
